Abstract The present invention relates to a collector roller and its production method. It is a collector roller for conduction in electroplating producting, and is characterized by that the external surface of enery end of two ends of existent roll collector is electroplated with nickel with thickness of 10-100 micrometers, then electroplated with copper with thickness of 3-10 mm, covered with tungsten carbide with thickness of 50-150 micrometers by means of thermal spray coating process then electroplated with gold with thickness of 1.2-5 micrometers, and finally electroplated with silver with thickness of 100-300 micrometers so as to form the electric supply portion of said collector roller. The conductivity of said collector roller mad up by adopting said invented method is raised, the temp. of electric supply portion can be reduced, so that it can implement heavy current supply, prolong its service life, and can be extensively used in electroplating equipment.
