Abstract A composite inorganic salt/ceramic material for heat storage is a phase change material, and is prepared from Na2CO3, BaCO3 and MgO, Bi2O3, or Na2SO4, SiO2 and Bi2O3 through proportioning, ball grinding with absolute alcohol as abrasive aid, baking, die pressing, and high-temp sintering at 850-1000 deg.C. Its advantages are high heat-storing density, releasing heat at stable temp, and easy control of preparing process.
