Abstract The composite metal-polymer coating includes a Ni-Cr alloy base layer adhered to metal substrate, a Fe-Cr-Ni alloy face layer on the base layer, and a surface closing epoxy resin layer. It can separate the direct action of alkali solution on welding seam area to protect welding seam from the corrosion of alkali solution and thus to avoid cracking of hot alkali pressure container caused by stress and corrosion and prolong the safe service life of evaporator.
