Abstract The forming process of heat-resisting Cr-Mn-Ni-N austenic steel rod incldues hot rolling in a rolling mill of square billet smelted in electric arc furnace or electric slag resmelted and forged with the rolled steel rod being wound synchronously; continuous solutionizing at 1110-1180 deg.c inside a solutionizing furnace before water cooling; straightening in the straightening machine before cutting into set length; and final grinding in a centerless grinder. The present invention has high product quality, low power consumption, low cost, and comprehensive material utilization of 60-70 %.
