Abstract The present invention relates to the technology field of electronic instrument for sports measurement. The measuring device consists of two parts, an infrared emitter unit and a measurement and display unit. The infrared emitter unit consists of one small box fixed on belt and the upper and the lower infrared emitting diode lines in the box; and the measurement and display unit includes one receiver comprising lens, color filter, slit board and optoelectronic receiving diode array, one processing circuit and one LCD installed on a circuit board. The measuring device is precise, simple in structure, low in cost, easy to use and durable.
