Abstract A method based on inserting frequency pilot sign for evaluating the S/N ratio of communication syste mincludes compensating to frequency pilot sign, measuring the square of average analog value, measuring average interference power, calculating the transition S/N value, compensating the transition S/N value to obtain correct S/N value, and analyzing the S/N value. Its advantages are simple algorithm, less hardware resource and no need of system or netowrk feedback.
