Abstract A production method of a structural body is provided. The two rotary tools are inserted into respective welding joints and moved at the same time. At a position P3, the rotary tool B are gradually withdrawn while they continue to move along the welding line. At a position P4, the movement of the rotary tools is all stopped, the rotary tool B are completely withdrawn and the welding is stopped. Next, the rotary tools are all inserted and movement is started again. An insertion amount of the rotary tool B at this time is larger than the insertion amount thereof prior to the stopping of the movement. Good friction agitation joining in the case portions not requiring friction agitation joining partially coexist when plural joining lines are simultaneously subjected to friction agitation joining is obtained.
