Abstract A method for measuring the power of pressurized-water reactor core for nuclear power station features that the temp, pressure and flow of the working media in two loops in the steam generator of said pressurized-water reactor care measured, the raised enthalpy value generated when said working media flow through the steam generator is calculated to obtain the energy transferred from the first to the second loops, the energy obtained by the first loop via other equipment and the energy lost by it are considered, and the power of said reactor core is finally calculated out. Its advantages include high speed and accuracy.
