Abstract The electromagentic induction discoloration glass is developed by adopting electrical electrode magnetizing induction discoloration principle and on the surface of glass there is a layer of superthin tungsten oxide coating, which changes its oxidation state while some low voltage is applied. By means of control voltage, the glass changes from transparency to deep blue, that is, while outer illuminance is strong, the glass is made to have deep color to prevent over high indoor temperature and illuminance; while outer illuminance is weak, the glass is made to become transparent to ensure enough indoor illuminance.
