Abstract A method for treating raw water for industry is characterized by that it combines the redox resin and cation exchange resin into one integral whole, and removes the dissolved oxygen in industrial raw water and calcium and magnesium ions as a cause of hardness of water simultaneously, and can regenerate and reduce the resin for continuous use so as to produce oxygen-removed softened water which is good in quality and excels state-set boiler water standard. Its operation is simple, convenient, efficiency is high,application range is extensive, and its self-consumption water, NaSO3 and NaCl can be saved by 50% respectively.
