Abstract Compound crystal is first prepared with the atomized, hydrolyzed and deposited lithium or the doped lithium and the carbonate and/or the hydroxide of Co, T, or Mn. The compound crystal is then thermolyzed graidently in stable temperature sections and in oxidant atmosphere into LiCoO2, LiNiO2 or LiMn2O4 or doped LiCoO2, LiNiO2 or LiMn2O4. The adnode material, compared with that prepared through available process, has reasonable crystallite size, high electrochemical activity and stable crystal type and is an ideal anode material for lithium ion cell.
