Abstract The preparation method of rare earth copper oxide ceramic powder uses the nitrate of correspondent metal as oxidant, uses urea as burning agent and adopts self-spreading combustion process, and is characterized by that the partial acetate can be substituted for nitrate as fire-retardant, the quantity mole ratio range of substituted nitrate is 25-75% and O/F rate range is 0.20-1.00. Said invention can greatly reduce self-spreading combustion temp. in the preparation of ceramic powder, can utilize regulation of urea dosage to accurately control self-spreading combustion temp. and speed so as to greatly raise the controllability of self-spreading combustion reaction and obtain the ceramic powder meeting requirements at lower temp. condition.
