Abstract A preparation method of 1,6-anhydro-beta-D-glucopyranose (called LG for short) crystal by using pyrolyzed oil of starch or cellulosic material includes the following steps: after the lignin of the pyrolytic liquor is removed and precipitated, the said pyrolytic liquor is treated with active carbon to adsorb and remove colouring matter and aromatic compound, then the cation-exchange resin is used to make treatment to remove various organic acids, and then the eluent is collected and heat-insulated at 60-70 deg.C in water bath to make the colloidal substance in the solution flocculate under the basic condition, then the solution in which the colloidal substance is removed is undergone the process of reduced pressure concentration and crystallization by adding ethyl alcohol to obtain crystal, and the obtained crystal can be washed with ethyl alcohol and acetone respectively to obtain end product crystal-pure LG.
