Abstract A fast cooling tower for the resultant of fluidized catalytic transforming reaction of hydrocarbons is composed of gas-phase separating region, fast cooling heat-conducting and catalyst powder dust washing region and level control region, and can be arranged over the settling equipment to integrate it into a whole or individually arranged to close to the settling equipment. A fast cooling method with said tower is also disclosed. Said tower and method are especially suitable for high-temp resultant stream with powdered catalyst.
