Abstract Of the ternary composite system, the mixed surfactant contains: the mixture of alkyl aryl sulfonate and natural carboxylate 50-60 wt%, lower alcohol 0-10 wt%, dihydric alcohol 0-5 wt%, inorganic salt 0-5 wt%, unsulfonated matter 0-5 wt% and water 5-15 wt%. The ternary composite system consists of: NaOH 0.1-1.25 wt%, the mixed surfactant 0.05-0.5 wt%, and polymer 0-0.2. When the solution of the ternary comosite system for displacement of reservoir oil is injected to underground, very low interface tension, in the order of 10 to the power -3 mN/m or even 10 to the power -4 mN/m, may be reached to result in high reservoir oik displacing efficiency.
