Abstract The invention relates to a vent structure of lighting installation. A hood 62 is extended from a reflector 51 so as to cover an upper surface of a socket part 52, and a cutout 73 is bored in an upper part of the socket part 52 so as to extend in the direction of an axis CL of the socket part 52. The cutout 73 causes a closed space in the reflector 51 to communicate with the exterior, thus allowing air to flow, and the hood 62 inhibits water from invading into the cutout 73. The incention is to freely set up the shape and size of a vent hole by simply opening, a cutout for the vent hole in a socket part, and to eliminate restrictions on the disposition of other components by providing the cutout and a hood in a sufficiently large space behind a reflector.
