Abstract An automatic rotary tool carriage for numerically controlled lathe is composed of motor, Hall element, worm-gear set and leading screw sleeve linked via nut to moving gear engaged with upper and lower gears. The drive disk is in contact with the circumference of drive pin on said moving gear, which is linked to square capstan and permanent magnet via link disk. Its advantages include high locking reliability, sealing and safety.
