Abstract The production process includes recrystallization of crude sodium chromate crystal material, separation of sodium chloride, and circular CO2-ammonia process to produce ammonium chromate crystal and side product sodium bicarbonate. During the circular process, sodium chromate is made to react with CO2 and ammonia to produce sodium bicarbonate precipitate and ammonium chromate solution. After separating sodium bicarbonate, the solution is added with salt separating agent and through cooling, press filtering, washing and drying ammonium chromate crystal product is obtained with the mother liquor being reused. The present invention has low cost, low reaction temperature and low power consumption, and the enclosed circulation results in saving in resource, protecting environment and clean production.
