Abstract In the digital three-spelling input method utilizing the ten digit keys from 0 to 9 to realize Chinese character input, each Chinese character is separated into two or more parts; the consonants and vowels of Chinese pronunciation are designated to the ten digit keys separately and this changes the Chinese character spelling into digital double spelling; and each Chinese character is input through the digital three-spelling codes including those of the Chinese character and its first part and final part. The input method is easy to learn and use, low in duplication code rate and widely suitable.
