Abstract An energy-saving launcher for rocket or missile and its energy saving calculation method are disclosed for saving a lot of propellant and reducing load of rocket. Its technical idea is based on a continuous equation: rho Vs=constant and the kinetic energy distribution rule that when jet speed is decreased under restriction of external force, the pressure is increased, reducing the kinetic energy carried off by jetting. It features that a propellant combustion chamber is arranged at lower part of launcher and rocket is positioned on the combustion chamber, and when the rocket is launched, high-pressure air is generated by combustion chamber to push the rocket and the rocket is then fired at proper time.
