Abstract An automatic 5-electrode submerged arc welder, includes a welding worktable for moving and rotating a weldment and fixing same. A welding head, a flux supplying/collecting unit, a wire supply unit and a welding program main control system are installed on the welding worktable, wherein five welding electrodes of welding head, which are controlled by a weldment-examined sensor, a pick up camera and a laser view sensor, are arranged on a X-Y slide track in order. An automatic slag crushing/collecting unit is attached to the rear portion of the welding head in welding running direction. The welder is able to realize automatic control of whole process of welding from setting the welding head to removing the slag.
