Abstract A high-Si beta zeolite is prepared from the raw beta zeolite synthesized by hydrothermal method, where organic amine is used as template, through ammonium salt exchange, high-temp calcine for removing ammonium, treating in acid, and hydrothermal treating. It features that the mother liquid separation and ammonium salt exchange are combined in one step for high output rate. Its advantages include high content of SiO2/Al2O3 (60-80), 0.1-0.3 mmol/g of total acidity, 500-600 sq.m/g of specific surface area, 0.3-0.4 ml/g of pore volume, high output rate increased from 67 m% to 90 m%, and short separation time decreased from 12 hr to 1 hr.
