Abstract A suction assembly of an air conditioner having suction ports at both inclined sidess of a cabinet, has a dust collector and a suction grille installed at the mutually separated discharge ports; and includes a cabinet with a upper panel; a discharge port on the upper panel; a front panel under the upper panel; and suction ports slantingly formed on both sides of the front panel. Wherein each suction grille is fixed on the suction port of the cabinet; the dust collectors are arranged behind the suction grilles for purifying the air flowing through the suction grilles. Also included is a fixing device for installing the dust collectors on the cabinet.
