Abstract The preparation of corn yellow OB antioxidant comprises extracting raw material from edible plant. Tocopherol, pectin, cyclodextrin, sodium alginate and cane sugar are first prepared into tocopherol microcapsule, the tocopherol microcapsule together with ascorbic acid, phytic acid and lecithin is then prepared into natural antioxidant; and the natural antioxidant is finally added to corn yellow OB to prepare the corn yellow OB antixoidant with high light and thermal stability.
