Abstract A thumbwheel-type decimal 7-segment encode swtch for directly controlling the 7-segment LED display of numerals 0-9 features that the electrode on decimal digital thumbwheel has 8 contacts and the electrode points fixed on PCB are arranged by 10 groups according to decimal 7-segment decode logic. As a result, the electric contacts of digital thumbwheel are correspondent to the electrode points to PCB to output numerals 0-9 and the state of 7-segment display switch.
