Abstract The time interval connection method for passive optical network transmission system is based on time division multiple address switching-in technology. The method realizes dynamic time interval connection through combining delay control and time interval connection, modifying the system positioning delay length according to the connection parameters, and altering the connection time interval of ports. The said method is simple, practical and low in cost, and is superior to fixed time interval connection in meeting the application requirement.
